Hows it going guys? Im new to this forum and looking for some help buying a grand prix. My 03 Crown Vic finally had enough after 8yrs of owning her, and im in the market for a reliable car. A buddy of mine is selling a 93 SE coupe with the LH0 3.1L 3 speed. The body has about 160k on it, while the engine has around 165k and a transmission that has 100k. It looks mint....absolutely blew my mind when i saw it was in such good condition, and the carfax is pretty much perfect looking. Hes done some work to it....dual exhaust system, cold air intake, etc.

So im trying to figure out how reliable these cars can be. Ive heard the 3100s arent too good but I havent heard much on the LH0s in the 93s. Ive tried searching quite a bit but havent had alot of luck. Id like to just be able to get another 3yrs out of it. Hes asking just shy of 2k....which I have no clue if thats a good deal or not since I cannot find many 93s on for sale sites. Any info would be great. Thanks and hopefully Ill pull the trigger on this and become an active member here!

$1,000, it's a 23 year old car with 160k miles, exhaust and "cold air intake" are moot points in the price. You can buy a nicer 97+ 3800 powered Grand Prix, if that is what you have your heart set on, for 2k.

Follow this guide to fix the issue with this car and you have a much better car. http://www3.sympatico.ca/aepa/blowerinstall.html
