Random question about member level

Okay so I'm not really new here but I wanted to know how you get the member level to go up? Like the SE -> GT -> GTP and so forth. How do you get to the next level?

your post count dictates your title, unless you donate, then you can make it say what ever you want, and you get a BOLD name too.

last one i had was at 5,000 posts, it turns to "i live here" thats the last title change.
