Thread: Can i swap BCM"s?

Just curious if i can swap a bcm from an 06 grand prix to my new 4.. i bought it with a bad bcm that the PO didnt want to replace.. and i just so happen to have an 06 bcm laying around. thanks

what are you trying to achieve from said 06 BCM i a question like that before when i was trying to do a keyless entry on mine i thought it was the bcm but to my finding it was much more complex

See I have a whole 06 parts car.. And I originally wanted to switch the cloth out of the 04 and put in the leather out of the 06.. But I looked and my bcm doesn't have the heated seat RPO in the bcm because it was a cloth car.. That's more my main goal.. And I know the bcm is bad because I bought it from a GM tech that got it cheap and he wanted nothing more to do with it.
