IDRIVEJUNK. That is a 1958 Isetta 300
Isetta, thank you. Sounds like a cool A build for sure. Hey if you got a clean title on the GP I think its worth checking into fixing... from a transportation standpoint and since you have a place to work on it. Maybe go take one for a spin at a car lot if you've never driven one. They are a little interesting, thats why their popularity and sales were so great.
No, the title is tied up in a family dispute. I don't know that all of them would agree to sign off, I think they would rather see the car crushed.
IDRIVEJUNK. Nice looking 69 GP
Wow, I almost wanted to say thats my uncle's old car but nope, his was a 77. I dig 70-7 Montes and Malibus too.
Thanks for the "like" on my GP's looks. Its just something I threw together that happened to work out visually when done.
Its IDJ or 'junk, for short. Whereabouts in OK are you? I'm in NW AR, about a half hour from the state line. Old Fords are really popular here too, but I'm a GM nut. All I seem to work on is Fords though, lol.
IDJ, I am in Guthrie, just north of OKC. I go to the show in Eureka AR every year. Nice show and cruise.
Got the 58 from the original owners. It was originally a white and pink car. Did a complete restore on the car but went with GM Summit white and Victory red. It was a tri-power car. It now resides in Sweden.
Which show? Eureka Springs is not far. The only show I even try to go to is the one locally thats part of the big bike rally we have. I think that spills over into Eureka, too. Eureka's big thing is the Corvette rally. Bet you've seen some of my work before.
Cool beans. It takes all kinds of GPF-ers to make the world go around. We'll get that post count up! Looks like you need to charge your phone (in monte pic) so I'm gonna go burn rubber while the sun is out.
Split, if you hit the "Reply With Quote" tab underneath each post, it will reply with the previous posters post so you don't have to address each person by name. Just makes things a tad easier.
Ah, thats better. 455'd.
Super Chief, my bad. The late 50s stuff was never my bag but I like lookin at em. Especially the 3x2 goodness. Been watching lots of Highway Patrol and Peter Gunn though, so I am improving lol. Ricky Ricardo was into the "Chiefs" if they were ragtops. You sure put the shine on that one. Dad bought Tempests new in 62, 4, and 6 then I came along and ruined it.
What do you think... rotate the engine in that SE a quarter turn, hang a rope driveshaft on it and put the transaxle out back for a first-gen Tempest re-make? You can dooo it!![]()
