No question is dumb. Everyone has to learn at some point, right? But I'd advise you to search for topics before you ask questions. It will save everyones time and will not upset people. I used to not search and got pounded on lol.
As far as flushing the coolant, Scotty has a nice write-up for that. Use green coolant when your done though. Ditch the DEX-COOL.
