Heightwise? If you need to adjust them up and down, why don't you use the adjuster on the headlight bracket?

What did you mean by "Cut that sucker off, at an angle where the projector will be angled "outward"."
Yes, the projector wasn't in the housing when I painted. Painted the shroud also.
Cut it so if you had a bulb there, it would face outward, away from the middle of the car. If not, the beams may point too much toward the middle of the car and cross each other. See what I'm saying? It was hard to explain.
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
To avoid gaps under the headlight. If I went to how you mounted them I could move the threaded end up and down some changing the angle of the projector inside the capsule. When I mounted mine I only cutoff the first layer on the backside of the capsule. I then used the ring that fits inside of the hole, so my angle is pretty much fixed and isn't adjustable. I think I like the way you mounted it more.
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Oh I see.
I can't get the high beams to work. TRS has been emailing me back and forth for 2 weeks now, telling me to try this and that. Nothing has helped. About to tell them I want a whole new harness to try.
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
I have an 04 but I wanted to say great job on the write-up, You know how we like those pictures!
The car is looking good and getting some new sparkle!!
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Did you try swapping the outer two pins?
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Thank you.
I got some current pictures of the car, I've been meaning to post some up, but I don't have my bullitts on the car yet. So I'll wait till then, then get more pictures.
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Nice write up, one day I will try and tackle this.

Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Added some finished pictures.

Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
What do you mean retro fogs? And how old were the headlights that you used becuase ive been told the older the harder to take apart
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
sub'd for when i do mine.
good write up man!
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
i retracted the question after i thought about it lol, but i was thinking it'd be cool to have projector fogs, like the newer impalas, at least i think there projectors
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
and not for nothin' though... it most likely would be a ton easier to do them/aim them
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Retro fogs would take a lot of work for sure. You'd also need a very small projector.
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Boostjunkie did p6 projector fogs, although said it was a lot of work. The only option I can think of off the the top of my head as far as size goes would be a blazertech. But output is probably meh at best.
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
do the corners come apart the same way as the headlights
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
Re: How to- Retrofit Projectors 97-03 GP
alright. my the headlight part has been in and out of the oven for 1 hour now and still hasnt came apart lol and the black part has became so brittle a chunk broke off
