and for those who dont solder or who are scared to solder, heres a vid with soldering basics. you'll want to get shrink wrap tubes, i just bought a new box for 3 bucks at harbor freight, and a new soldering iron for another 3 bucks there as well. you'll need flux core solder too, i got that at radio shack for about 5 bucks i think.
soldering and shrink wrap tubes are the only way to splice these wires, any other way WILL FAIL over time.
