How to hand polish aluminun engine parts

Things you will need

1.320 grit sandpaper
2.800 grit sandpaper
3.1000 grit sandpaper
4.1500 grit sandpaper
5.2000 grit sandpaper
6.Pack of multi grade steel wool
7.1 Can of Eagle 1 Nevr dull polish

The first step is to clean the aluminum part and begin sanding the part with 320 grit sandpaper.
After the part is completly bare you will be ready to begin the polishing.
Properly sanding the part with the 320 grit paper and applying never dull the part will appear to have a polished look, but dont stop there!
Now that the metal is polished with 320 grit paper you are ready to move on to 800 grit paper, sand with 800 until the scratches from the 320 are polished out.
Between changing paper I always never dull the part, the never dull make the process much simpler.
You can use the steel wool to clean the metal and remove any stains the metal has in it.
After you sand with the 800 grit paper you progressivly move up it sandpaper. Each paper will further the shine of the aluminum.
Nevr dull is an extremly great product and I would not polish anything without it. Without never dull you will not get a show quality shine. Good Luck Polishing takes a lot of time.
