    hopefully this new set works well. its shielded like crazy too so shouldnt have any interference. definitely will try to wire it the right way this time.
    appreciate all the help. I seriously dont understand why a 2008 top tier model vehicle cant come with a freakin aux port...a base model jetta does lol.

    well the corvettes have the same deck, if you get one made for a vette you can get a ipod cable, or for like 350 you can get the gm nos1 i think it was. trying to save but for that kind of money i can put towards tires or somehting else.

    yeah the point in doing this mod is so you don't have to swap decks out. If I got anything it would be a 7" touch but not a pos boss model. I dont mind the factory cd player but jesus why put a car without an aux port lol. I have a galaxy s3 that I used to use pandora all the time on. lately i've had to use cds .
    the only major mod im doin is the cold air box from pfyc and im not sure when i'll do that.

    jordo missing the point bruh, well for me at least stock is better with the navi, but if i had a normal deck i would kept my dbl din from the last car

    yeah the nav's arent cheap at all i've looked. Im not sure the guy i work with was talkin about having his built but I like kits a lot.

    mine is just hanging now, i have been working on a box, i do have a tube that runs from under the driving/turn signals in that little vent to right on the filter till i make a box,

    no codes, this is older pic from first week ive have car, it doesnt face forward anymore it in the fender, just like i said not sure how i wanna make a heatsheild yet

    could always bend some alluminum.
    i may end up going with the prebuilt kit anyways. not sure yet.
