Someone on another forum managed to do the sat-nav upgrade, on an 04 with the UW6 standard stereo system! He said something about having to do a little Tech2 trickery to get the stock BCM to accept it (as RPO codes for sat-nav were never in the 04s), but it plugged straight in... which leads to the question: if this guy used an 05's HU, and no Monsoon or aftermarket amp, does it truly need that amp, or can it be told to shut the amp feature off (like in aftermarket HUs)?Originally Posted by MatthewFiero
