I have a 98 pontiac grand prix gt. Its in rough shape, two giant dents on each side, scratches everywhere, rusted out under carriage.. but it still runs and I'm gonna drive her until she self destructs.
I want to buy a canoe and therefore am going to need a canoe rack but I have no desire of investing $500+ into one for this car.
So I was wondering if anyone has any plans/thoughts on how to rig up a DIY canoe rack for my car.. I have absolutely no problems with drilling into the roof either.
My current though is to frame it out in pvc (spray painted to match the car so it doesn't look completely horrendous). Then if needed, bolt on some nylon tie down straps to have a place to secure the canoe to
