I checked Lowes they didn't have them...

I'm guessing you could just use a 45* pvc bend in place of the 90* that was cut in half?

Possibly. Also if you can't find them at Lowes you're not looking hard enuff.

My Lowes must not be as big as your Lowes.... They only have 3" rubber bends, not 4". Same with Home Depot.
