dident know i had to check threw here for more post thought it would do that in user cp :/ anyways im down. i work every other weekend tho so my scheldule is a little ruff. where would we meet up and do a mod day?? would we just bring tools do a desired location?? there having a track event april 24-25 all weekend at silverdollar. camping out is allowed. i think that would be a good place for a mod day, get tired or working on your car you can go and watch some racing 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes

For years ive heard about an abandoned drag strip in paulding county and was starting to think it was just a rumor, but i found it!! Best part is its not even closed up or gated or anything, theyre not even trying to keep people out! Its right on the line between paulding and cobb county. It may be a long drive for some but if yall wanted to have a meet there it would work and we'd have the strip all to ourselves. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
that would be pretty sweet. not that far of a drive for me. some of the down south guys tho it would. i think if we made it an all day event the 2hr drive or so would be compinsated with getting to hang out all day. im down. lets see who else is. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
Yeah, It's probably about a hour and a half from me. Sounds good. I can't believe the cops don't have that place on lock down. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
the only thing ive heard about cops there is they roll through around midnight. i would find the owner of the property and ask if they minded if we use it for a meet but then theres the chance of him/her saying no and ive always said id rather ask for forgiveness than permission. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
Yeah, but it could go either way. We could have a nice meet with no problems, or walk out of there with some fat trespassing tickets. I think if we sell it to the owner good enough, it wouldn't be a problem. Go ahead and have some sort of weiver typed up with all of us signed for his records that he will not be responsible for anything that happens, but we're responsible for his property. Just a thought. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
ok well i did some looking around and i found the name of the last guy that ran the strip but i dont know if hes the land owner. i also found a myspace for people that used to go there alot that i think is run by one of the family members of the owners. before i contact anybody or write up a waiver i need to see how many people are seriously interested in going. if you are serious about it let me know somehow whether it be in this group or via pm or whatever. i might make a thread in the southeast local section if there seems to be enough interest. let me know. 0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Dislikes
