yes u can fabricate the obx's to fit, but thats just extra money/ time. I would make DNA pay to fix them if they don't work.

Good luck trying. The people I know who fabricated it just hit the pipes with a hammer etc and knocked them in to fit and someone even chipped away at some part of the casing of the tranny to get by and they fit like a charm. There was no harm done and they worked. I could be wrong about chipping away at tranny I think that is what they chipped away at (some piece near tranny).

Well, if you don't mind chipping away at the tranny case, then you just got a great deal on some headers LOL!
If you guys get the headers and they fit great and there are no problems, well then .. good for you.. you jsut got a great deal on some headers. BUT I don't think that is going to be the case. I would be pissed if i was led to believe that i was getting the ssac headers and actually ended up getting obx crap pacesetter knockoffs. Hell, someone was making fun of the pacesetters in this thread already! hahaha man u guys really should do something about this.

Like I said I'm unsure of what they did exactly but it fit and they've had no issues at all and they fit perfect. Always plan to spend more money then the part your buying when modding a car. If you can't afford to have your headers fabricated to fit or can't do them yourself you shouldn't be putting headers on your car to begin with.

which look like pacesetter knockoffs. If we get these they are going right back, since I dont want to have to cut and weld these things, and we were all told they would be ssac knockoffs.

Killa, I hope people take this as a lesson... when you organize things, and you tell people who worry "breath and relax brother let me handle this ok", and crap like this happens... Like you tell everyone they are getting X, and then after everyone pays YOU, then we find out that we are getting Y...
And when I said it was fishy that you were asking everyone to send you money as a GIFT, it gave them no recourse when you end up giving them somethign other than what they ordered.
I hope everyone gets their ****, and it works like a charm, otherwise, Id call paypal and have them do a reversal since we are not getting what we ordered.
Killa, in the future, use this as an example, dont be "the man"... if everyone ends up canceling their payment to you for sending the wrong parts, you would lose the money, you would be liable for the return shipping fees, and then you would ahve to fight them for the money.

These are 304 stainless. They are obx headers, or whatever knockoff, they are identical to the obx ones. They look as if they may have fixed the crossover, looks different, also it includes band clamps in which my obx ones did not. Other than the crossover, looks like they might seal better and dont have the crappy u bend downpipe. You guys need to stop speculating and just wait for them to come in. IMO these are better then the first speed daddy headers you were getting anyways. Just my .02.

good job trying to make people feel better. What is actually wrong about the obx headers is the entire front manifold piece. The piece that connects to the crossover hits the trans case, so even if the crossover "looks different", the original problem still remains. I really do hope that these headers work for everyone without any hiccups... but history has shown that pacesetter knockoffs have MAJOR flaws.

its is not my fault...you think i knew from the start these were knock off pace setters..no i didnt..but even if i knew they were i would still get them...any who dont try to dog on me bout this shlt. i did my job..as far as which headers we get that and if they fit that is up to DNA...DNA has everyones money now..not me..everyone who order headers in the group buy.."should" of recieve a e mail from him...in the email it has his phone number so take it up with him...not me..i did my part n that was to get a group buy..

Either way, the headers are cheaper with the group buy so Yeah for that!!!! If we have the mod them to fit, oh well, we all learn how to weld, or whatever. Thats the fun of modding cars. You get to sit in a garage with car buddies, drink beer, make your car better, and get away from the old ladySounds great to me!!
I would rather mod $200 headers than pay $600 for some that will fit "pefect". That 400 bucks will goto another "mod" that I will have to make fit my car
