I just bought and installed a VVME.com bi-xenon hid upgrade kit for headlights with relay kit and a fog lamp hid kit.

I see no difference when switching from low beams to high beams. My hi beam indicator stays faintly dim on low beams. When I switch to high beam my fogs turn off like normal but when I switch back to low beams my fogs do not come on without turning headlight switch on-off-on then fogs will come back on.

I got on the chat with VMME and they tell me there is a magnetic controller that changes the angle of the bulb. They are dumb as a box of rocks. I am like wtf. The instructions show a hi low beam controller between the relay harness and the headlight but my kit did not have anything in it like this. When I mentioned that to customer service they quit chatting with me.

Anybody know what might be going on here? the kitI ordered is
    12V 55W Digital Slim 9007-3 Bi-Xenon HID Kit (VVME-HKB93-sl55W)

They don't truly work. Russosaur had them before retrofits and basically had the same thing you did

This tells us that you have the wiring reversed at the (blue) plug between the harness and the vehicle. Check that the low and hi beam wires are in the correct position.

I ran PNP HID's with working hi-beams for about 3 years.

I switched the pins around and was able to make it work correctly. I also found that when parked close to my garage door it is difficult to tell the difference between hi and lo beams on something directly in front of the car.

    Good to hear.

Sounds about right. LOL Even on a dark country road, I could barely tell the difference.

I just checked again this morning and I can tell that the driver side is not doing anything between high/low beams but the other side is. I am going to swap bulbs and see if it follows that bulb. Might have a bad bulb.
