Just recently purchased 98' Daytona 40th anniversary Grand Prix, when using power windows or sunroof they all open/go down fine, only closing them they are very slow to close. If you grab ahold of windows and pull up they will close quickly and same with sunroof. Is there some kind of power actuator that could be bad ? I wouldn't think switches because of being able to " pull " them up.. Any help.....

you have a 17 year old car, the motors are tired. new window regulators are needed.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

i call it a slow death lol. i got one thats real slow now too.

window regulators are a common failure on these cars too.

+1. Slow means you're on borrowed time. Some go longer than others but its a warning that its gonna pick a day and stop working. Hand assist or no. Chances are slim that window track binding is slowing them down. If you have good juice and good parts, they zip right up and down.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
