Now that I've finally got my exhaust leak free, my last major annoyance is my fuel pump. Right now if I go much past 1/4 tank it will lean out if I turn too fast. Easy fix is keeping tank above 1/2 at all times, but with the shorter range I have with e85 I'd like to suck all the fuel out of tank I can.

I have an Aeromotive 340. All I've done is drill a bunch of holes in the stock canister. Only thing I can think is to totally cut off the bottom of the canister and mount the pump in a way that the sock is touching the bottom of the tank.

Can anyone suggest anything better? I guess best option would be to get a new canister and install a stock venturi style pump like the Walbro, but am hoping to make this work.
