    how can you tell when your wideband is shot?
    - 2001 Grand Prix XGT -- 11.21@124MPH
    - 2010 Chevy 2500HD LTZ -- Car hauler
    - 2011 BMW 328i Xdrive -- Wife's Daily
    - 2014 Ford F250 crew cab -- 6.2 liters of ford fail

    It doesn't work.

    Depends on the wideband, some have tests or calibrations you can do to the sensor.

    But if the sensor itself is over 15-20k miles, you should replace it anyway.

    i have had it since 2008 and have probably put 20,000+ miles on it since i got it. it reacts a bit odd sometimes but doesnt lock up but seems to jump around more then it should. i dont have anything to compare it to as i havent been on a dyno with the new trans yet. i do remember the last time i was on a dyno the afx the dyno operator used reacted considerably slower then my innovate. its a bosch sensor.

    wrap a rag in break cleaner and hold the sensor in it, if the gauge doesnt change then replace

    I noticed mine reads lean almost all the time. Happened right at the end of the season. Hoping a new sensor will correct this.
