Lately my airbag light has been on and I don't know why, I haven't ran into anything and no one has hit me. also, the compass in my DIC will randomly read "CAL"a instead of the direction of travel, meaning ti needs to be calibrated. but after driving along further it will go back to giving directions. I don't really knwo what is going on with either of these problems.

the airbags have a fuse. I would check ALL of your fuses first to make sure one isnt blown.....

as for the compass... I havent heard of it saying that before. I would call GM and ask them what is needed to correct the problem.

I believe I had to do it after I changed out my pcm. it gives you an option to recalibrate it, i believe its in the personal settings right after the option to reset the tire pressure calibration. And I have already tried doing this twice, but it still shows up.

Checked the airbag fuse, it was good, changed it anyways and the light is still coming on.

Airbag light means either a problem in the wiring or airbag computer.
If you want it to work when it is suppose to take it in. As of right now when it is on it will not work.
