00 GTP, installing the Racetronix rewire and ran into a problem and got stuck there. I ran the wiring under the car pretty easily but when I went to connect the 2 square shaped connections to the factory wiring, I got stuck.

I left the 2 factory connections plugged into the fuel pump, tried pulling those wires to see where I connect the 2 racetronix connections, but I could only pull the factory wiring so much and couldn't pull them any more. I took a pic showing where I got stuck at.

Can anyone please help and tell me where I'm messing up at, or what I'm doing wrong.

    Thanks

Also, just realized I don't know how to post pics posting from my cell phone. Any help with that also, please.

thats because it appears someone has performed a hack job on your harness...that is not the factory connection.

That is the GM "upgraded" connector. Any aftermarket fuel pump module will have the "4-flat" and come with a new end to splice into the factory harness. Your original "4-square" connector goes in the trash.

well in that case i would say go junk yarding and get a factory end to the harness.

If you do find a car that hasn't had the pump replaced, try to get that entire harness section. It runs from the fuel pump module in between the tank and trunk floor to that junction box/plate on the passenger side of the trunk floor. That way, it will be plug and play. No splices.

I have that harness in a drawer somewhere. I can get pictures of it, and both ends if you need.
