I been having issues with my ABS and TCS lights being on and im finally getting around to fixing it. I sent my ABS module out to be fixed at ModuleMasters and I just got it back. Went to install and lights stay off until I turn my wheel. So I grabbed the scanner which reads ABS to see the codes and I keep getting an error saying cant connect to ECU. It connects to PCM and I can read and erase codes just fine. I checked the one ABS fuse under the hood and its good. Any ideas?

use a different scanner. Often times my Matco Scanner(which is supposed to read ABS) one wont read ABS and I have to borrow my friends modis.

ECU is typically considered an Engine Control Unit BTW

An 03, I'm thinking the same.. need a higher end scanner.

That's just the error im getting when trying to access the Chassis part of my scanner where you go to read ABS. "cant connect to ECU" I checked the scanner and read my Nissan maxima with no issues. Ill have my buddy take a look with his scanner thanks.

97-2003 grand prixs are unicorns when it comes to abs / srs systems. Some sick individual made it use some bastardization of half a can bus to talk to them.
