this startled the hell outta me!

so I was on my way to the college this morning to make a couple of changes, and it was a little wet not too bad. I was getting some road spray on my windshield and decided to hit the wipers and, WOW where the hell did that come from?

and when I leave them on they are fine. just when they are initaly turned on that is a problem, I tried to get it in that video. but the wipers almost fly all the way off the car.
any good ideas?

Need to losen bolt on wiper arm. reset then torque back down

they come loose a lot. the wipers on these cars suck.
