Having hard time picking new car. I think its down to gtp, regal gs, or eclipse gsx. How reliable are the eclipse gsx? Any big expensive problems they are known for? I have been looking at this one.

Cars.com: 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX Turbo AWD

    or this gtp

Cars.com: 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

    or this one

Yeah I wish I could say that, but its pretty nice too. Plus its awd too. I hear they have transmission problems though.

the eclipse would be fun and as long as you take care of it it should run and drive just fine, but id be weary because it is already modded so you know he beat on it. you dont mod it and then not drive it hard.

gtp's are nice. expensive when you can get a gt for a couple thousand less and then swap all the parts over and have a car that is better for less..

x2 I would be careful of the eclipse. But IMO I would drive around and try and find a GP for sale that isn't at a dealership or surf local non-dealership ads. You can find a GP for much much cheaper.

    after owning 3 DSM's......

    I vote GTP.

will outlast a DSM every day of the week. no high dollar fixes every 30K... you have no timing belts to replace...... thus it wont snap...

    too many problems.

    GTP all the way.

Yeah I decided, I can get a lower mileage gtp or gs for much cheaper, ride a hell of a lot better and much more reliable.

2G GSX's have crankwalk issues, transmission problems and are high maintenance, they will last if you maintain them but are more prone to failure.

Ur Losn, you still interested in my gt?
