    My headlights are basically useless. I was thinking of swapping to silverstars like I have in my other car but I thought I would ask. What, aside from hid's, is the brightest high and low beam bulb I can put in my stock housing.

    And I have read about people swapping to 55 watt fog lights. What is involved with this? A relay and a glass housing?

    Also I was able to do a few minor things to my Camaro so that all six bulbs are on when I have my brights on. Is this possible in a Grand Prix?

    I want the most possible light coming out of the front of my car without the cost of HID's.

    Well silverstars did not make any difference in my mustang. But that is probably about the best you can get without hid's

    Headlights:
    For brighter headlights with the stock capsules, the best thing you can do is get a relay harness (link). The harness will have a greater effect on your light output than any bulb will. For bulbs, I'd recommend the Philips X-treme Power +80 (link).

    Foglights:
    You'll need to swap to a glass housing to use 55W foglight bulbs (almost all aftermarket foglights for our cars use H3 bulbs). To mount them, you'll have to drill a couple of holes into the stock brackets. It's not that difficult, and they can be easily returned to stock if you want to.

    For what you're looking for, you'll probably want a driving light (more like a spotlight or high beam) instead of a foglight (low, wide beam). One easy way to tell is that foglights usually have a reflector over the bulb, while driving lights normally do not. I've heard good things about the Cyberwhites (blue tinted lens), which are available at most auto parts stores or WalMart, and the Hella Angel Eyes (link).

    Running all the lamps at once:
    Our headlights use a dual filament bulb. You can't have both the high and low beam filaments on at the same time without burning out the bulb. It's possible to wire the foglights to stay on with the highbeams, but I don't remember how.

    One more question: How clouded are your headlight capsules? The most noticeable difference I've seen was when I replaced my scratched and clouded capsules with new ones.

    One is crystal clear and the other is a little clouded. I think the bulbs are really old just replacing them would probably help a lot. When you said a relay harness what is that? is there a writeup somewhere?

    I forgot about the dual filament thing I found the thing about keeping the fogs on with the highs and I might do that.

    A relay harness connects your headlights directly to the battery. This results in more voltage to the bulbs. There are writeups to make them yourself, or you can purchase them premade. If you buy one premade, it's pretty easy to install.

    There are a lot of harnesses out there. I've heard good things about these, and the price seems pretty good:

    Is is possible to get a brighter bulb without changing anything at all and be worry free of anything melting?

    I am going to get new headlight assemblies for my 2000 gt, but I want to get newer and brighter bulbs. Any ideas for the question above? And any links to a cheap but new set of headlight assemblies (no cornering assembly needed).

    If you want the most light output with out spending the buxs for hids.

    Silver stars are not the best. They are a tinted bulb which is bad.

    Narva RangePower+50, GE Night Hawk, Philips VisionPlus, and Tungsram Megalight Premium. These are the ones you should look at, as these will provide the most light output

    The silverstars we sell in America are not the "REAL" ones in fact they are a knock off. The real ones come in a blue and white packaging if i remember right and are only made in germany and will not have any color coating on the bulb
