I would like to add Oversized Radiators to my list. I have a thread on this. Everyone that posted said that a stock radiator would work just as good. I don't know, if this is enough proof or not.

    http://www.grandprixforums.net/threa...ized-Radiators

I was also going to spend more money than I had to on these type of radiators.

    That's quite the accusation.

Furthermore, it's quite pointless as it's much easier to skew the results digitally after the fact.

You have a stock car. Of course the stock rad is sufficient.

Make double the stock power, then see if that holds true.

Added a few new things to the list, please people keep the discussion about worthless mods to the wbody cars, not the mods on this forum. I really wish I could clean this thread up and get rid of all the stupid that has been posted.

How many people have had coolant Temps that couldn't be sustained for the stock radiator? Maybe 1 or 2 people that have 500-700 whp the rest probably need to do routine maintenance more often.

This is why I wanted links to proof as to why these mods are worthless not just someone saying that it is.

Lol...Man, I looked for an hour and didn't find a single link proving or stating it, hell I was thinking about doing a test on it myself, but I can't figure out the best way to do it.

I'm getting a new radiator soon, so I was thinking of buying a oversized radiator because it wouldn't hurt none to have one installed anyways, and doing a before and after result, but the only problem with that is (from what I have read) people have had problems with the fittings on a aftermarket oversized radiator.

    Lol....This sounds crazy!

An oversized rad might be a requirement for a stock car on a roadcourse but a worthless mod on a 1200whp car. Its about duty cycle not peak power.

Im running an oversized radiator but its only because I already had one sitting and figured it wasn't gonna hurt anything, the lower hose angle is a pita though

So, does your car run cooler than it does with the stock radiator?

Honestly I have no idea I've only driven it with the oversized one and I've only got around 60 miles on it.
