Alright here is the scoop. Im an idoit and take twistys in my grand prix. Currently have poly everything, Doorman front sway, moog ends, zzp strut braces, zzp trailing arms, whatever brand lateral links, gmpp 18mm rear sway bar. You get the idea.

My problem is that with the giant oh my dear god huge doorman front sway bar the front end feels solid and sexy. The 18mm gmpp bar lets the rear end flop around like my ex girlfriend. Is there a bigger rear sway bar available? I want to stiffen it up back there and hopefully get a bit of oversteer. Otherwise I am going to fab up my own.

Nose heavy gp guy, a bigger bar wouldnt really do anything.

Add 200 lbs to the back end and see if anything changes.

Coilovers are you're next step. Beyond that getting a bar made at a local Gate/fabrication shop could be useful.

ive always thought massive rear sway was a huge improvement id suggest getting a speedbuilt bmr sway or a rat rear sway if you can find one iirc those were the biggest available.

I believe you can still get umi sways and trailing arms for these cars too.

Anyone know someone who has a bmr/addco/speedbuilt/next level/rat rear sway bar they want to part with?

looking at pictures for this thread it seems like 3rd gen Camaro's rear sway bars look exactly the same as our rear sway, and as a bonus readily available, and come in the 23mm variety, i might be ordering to confirm soon

There's was a huge thread on another forum years ago about the dynamics of the GTP suspension, the understeering and more. It may seem illogical, but stiffening the REAR on these cars goes a long way. A 200lb sub, amp and relocated battery to the trunk helps too. Strut tower braces, upgraded trailing arms, adco rear bar (largest available) and stiffer springs in the rear is the way to go.

I already have upgraded rear springs, trailing arms, lateral links, strut tower braces, and kyb gr2 struts. There isnt a whole lot more other then the sway bar. Going to see if I can find one of those that I listed / take a look at the camaro rear bar.

Keep us updated as usually. Would be nice if we could go this route instead of the pricey addco route

In case yall were curious here's the link.

    http://www.top-downsolutions.com/23mm-rear-sway-bar

I'm sure I'm going to want a two bolt setup for the sway bar brackets though
