So, the nut that holds the sc tensioner onto the stud going through the cast iron coil pack bracket. Its special. A normal nut that threads on is a 15 mm, but you cant get a socket bigger than a 13 in the tensioner hole.. So its some kind of special nut with the same thread and pitch but a smaller head. Any idea where to get one? I even looked around at my local ace/lowes/home depot and looked through mcmaster carr and I cant seem to find ones with a smaller head. its M12 I believe. If i cant find one i might just grind the crap out of one to make it smaller lol.

yes. its all i have and it works just fine. used it many times already on that nut. thing is, it fits inside the tensioner, all that matters at this point.

the OEM nut is a 10mm thread nut but with the 13mm body. a little work with a grinder will get your 15mm oversize nut down to 14mm which a chrome socket will fit just fine

you can stack washers tall enough that the nut is near the opening but 30secods with a 4.5" or bench grinder will get you down to 14mm
