Its just on 1 cylinder though.
whoa whoa whoa you haven't replaced the injector o-ring yet????? that'll piss off the PCM. That's a a vac leak that needs to get fixed now
Things you’ve done so far
-new spark plug
-new spark plug wire
-new coil pack
-swapped injectors
-check signal to said injector
-swapped ICM
-checked valves
-checked rockers
-checked pushrods
-checked lifters
Fixed up the vacuum lines and replaced the leaky injector o-ring.
and????? any positive results?
Not at all.
Unhook battery for 30 mins and let the PCM reset and go from there. Also it's the camshaft sensors job to find cylinder #1 so keep that in mind but do the battery first. If that doesn't work, I can give you a Cam sensor for free just pay shipping.
Go from where? The battery's been unhooked about a dozen times now.
Damn. So it's still misfiring? The other thing you could do is "rent" a cam sensor from the parts store and put it in. If that doesn't work, just spray some brake cleaner on the new cam sensor and return it lol. Just don't tell them you installed it
Scotty, go help Joe
Its kinda funny how the aeroforce isn't reporting every misfire. It will say zero when I know there was a burst of misses. Sometimes it says 2, sometimes it says 10.
Im gonna get a dial gauge and check the lift. http://www.harborfreight.com/clampin...tor-93051.html
Do that but Scotty also recommended to swap the rockers. He also said to put the stock rockers back on just to see if the misfire goes away.
Yea I would throw the stockers back in and see what happens..
I swapped the rockers around already.
I never put the stockers back on though.
But if it were the rockers, I dont think the problem would be on just 1 cylinder.
If I do swap the rockers to stock can I keep the l76 springs and retainers? And would it be alright just to swap the offending cyl bank and leave the other?
I would swap at least the fronts.. And yes keeping the l76 springs and retainers are fine..
I forget what we think was the initial issue here... but have you case learned it?
