I have a slow leak in my AC compressor, and without the financial means to "properly" fix it right away, I was looking for a temporary fix. A $14 can tap, a refrigerant hose + gauge that I already had, and a $20 6-pack of dusters. That should get me through an Arizona summer into next spring when I can get the parts, vacuum pump and gauge set I need to properly fix it.

Plus, as I understand it, it's better for the environment to leak R152a (difluoroethane) than R134a. If that kind of thing concerns you.

At least he'll know there's not dust in his A\C system, lol.

Like a charm! 8 months later, nice and cold. Admittedly, I am gambling. I know it's only a matter of time before my compressor grenades and I have to replace everything.
