Wondering if this is a good mod to consider next (while I work on eliminating knock). I am guessing you'd recommend changing the springs as well if I go forward with it?

If you have done this mod, how well did the car respond with it?

    Thanks in advance

I'd reccomend a cam over rockers any day.

Yeah for the cost a cam is much better, only thing rockers have over a cam is easier install.

Cam install isn't too bad once you figure out how to get the harmonic balancer off. That's my least favorite part of anything I've ever done on a GP.

    That's hilarious.. it's a 15min thing to swap a crank sensor.

Nice! When I pick up a pair, I may contact you about that. What RPM did you set your shifts at with rockers and the stock springs by chance?

Thanks for all of the responses. I am not planning on tearing into the block for a cam swap anytime soon, so will likely go the rockers route for now.

Any recommendations on what I may need to change in the tune when I put these in? Recommended safe shift RPM?

I've seen the magic number 6 before. Stock is set right at 5,350 at least in my 1999 GTP. Have you guys seen some good/safe gains by bumping the shift points up by that much? by gains, I mostly mean acceleration/track times by being WOT in more "area under the curve" locations in the power band.

What cam would you recommend given my list of mods???

If I do cam, I am going to do springs, pushrods, timing chain, the whole 9 yards probably just to be safe...
