So, I installed headers about 7-8 months ago. My car is lowered, so I had spacers to raise the engine to reduce vibrations. With the headers installed, the downpipe contacted the tunnel/firewall, so I removed the spacers, and all seemed OK.
Noticed after a few months I was getting a slight power steering leak from under the car. Power washed the engine, and saw the leak was coming from a power steering line, right next to the downpipe. The downpipe had burned/sawed a hole through a power steering line.
I replaced the power steering line(which was a pain!), and zip tied them down a bit out of the way, but the downpipe could still make a tiny bit of contact. I figured the reason the downpipe was making contact was due to worn engine mounts, so I replaced both lower engine/trans mounts with poly mounts. The stock mounts were smashed flat. Now the engine is back up off of the power steering lines, but is now hitting the tunnel/firewall again.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

How low are you? My SD's fit too perfect, so that when I put my spacers in I'm afraid of exactly what you're saying. My power steering hard line actually rests against the rear header too.

Yeah, I thought mine was just resting on there, until it started leaking.
I'm lowered on agx struts, with ssc springs. Probably dropped about 1.5 inches.

I figured this might be about my only option.
I wish I had a lift, would give me a lot more clearance to do it.
I installed my catback on my back with my car on four jackstands.
