id just stick with the SD's for the cost if nothing else.

you dont have to do a thing to them, but most will change out the flex pipe to a better one. removing the that dumb drain trap in the dp is easy to get done too. you could make all your cuts with a sawsall and have it welded up.

Is the drain pipe worth getting rid of? Cause I'm trying to not have to do any or not very much fabrication

And supposedly the pacesetter from zzp. With the pro kit fixes all the issues.

like i said, you "dont need" to do anything to just run them. the flex will last long enough and the drain trap is just a bit low and could bottom out if lowered. stock cars dont seem to have a issue really.

But compare the cost of the two unless that has no factor in it

Just get SDs use Rtv and band clamps and replace the flex with a zzp flex and your golden. Easier install than pace****ters too a lot of people would never let them on their car. Smuts had zzp headers and hated them

I'm guessing the rtv and band clamps can be found at zzp. Or what about a cheaper supplier like rock auto?

I would imagine any local auto parts store, they may have to order them depending on how many they stock.

Advanced auto has them order them online use a coupon code and then pick them
    Up in store saves money

I'm in Missouri so I think I need cat. Cut I'm pretty sure the emissions test it probed and not just all looks. So the rtv. Is a silicone sealer. And the band clamps are exactly what the name says haha. That double wall flex from zzp is cheap as well

I use plogs on my turbo setup.. but for a SC setup, headers are just the way to go. With so many options out there now from cheap to expensive, no reason to not
    go that route.

I am not a big fan of the band clamp setup.... didn't like em on SLP... didn't like em on ZZPs... never done the cheaper ebay ones but figure about the same.

If i was to get some cheapies, i'd at least invest to get a vband setup on them instead....

Still rocking TOGs for 10+ years on my daily turd.

I guess I am part of the minority...I had a zzp dp and at a later date decided I wanted to do headers...never made much money back on DP because no one really wants them used...selling the plog shouldn't be a issue but I guess I don't understand why not running what you have so you can spend time and money on other stuff...SD headers do not just fly on the car not leak and have zero issues...guess for most people they want a specific whp so prob better listen to the pro's that have seen zero gains from Plog+DP...oh and the pro's will say xp cam only all day every day so better skip the VS lol
