Hey guys, need your help. I feel like I must be missing something so I am turning to the experts. I ran a search on the forums and didn't find anything so I am starting this thread.

I can NOT find the part number for WeatherTech mats for my 2004 GTP. I am talking about the sculpted "DigitalFit" floorliners that are custom to the vehicle. Only universal mats are listed for that year. Here's where it gets really confusing - if you look at part number 44124, that's a 4-piece set for 2007-08 Grand Prix's.

Here's where I think I am missing something. 04-08 are the same body style so what the hell changed in 2007 that makes the mats not fit? Or did anything change? I called WeatherTech and of course their noob tech guy couldn't tell me why they wouldn't fit 04-06 vehicles, just that "they only fit 2007 and 2008 model years".

Can anyone confirm that they really WILL NOT fit '06 and older vehicles?

Alternatively, is there another part number I should be looking at? I want a front and rear set.

I know they make a custom-fit set of Husky Liners but I really prefer the WeatherTech mats over the Husky's (plus I found a place where I can get either brand for about the same cost).

    Thanks in advance!

Nothing should be different at all in the interior cabin of the vehicles.

GM did not change the floor design for 04-06 and 07-08, the bodys are all the same under the outside skins.

Sounds like I should be fine. Just for double confirmation, is there anyone on this board that has installed said floor mats in a 04-06 era GP???

thanks again for the help. I'm proud to be part of this community.
