I made another thread. But I just wanna know how zzp headers are to install and the quality. Those or other brands of that caliber. I've put in SD headers, bent the transmission dipstick and after a while of figuring out to why my car lit up on fire it was because I bent the stick enough to have a pin sized hole that shot just enough oil out... I want to stay away from that with this Comp G I'm rebuilding.

And I know you know how to use the search feature... Because just about every single header question has been answered multiple times

So there's a thread that compares the install of SD and ZZP's? Sorry... I haven't found that.

Not exactly.. Headers are headers they both will install the same one may just be slightly easier.. Your getting a slightly bigger primaries with ZZP. IMO don't eliminate SDs because of your error. Next time be more careful.

Yeah that's true to be careful; I've learnt since that car is no longer here with me. I just seen that ZZP said it's possible to install without removal and bending.

Plus... to do the SD's right, you gotta do the whole jig process and the flex pipe... I believe my bill came out to 600 all together.

Nope Modified SDS. I also replaced the manifold gaskets with oem which were $20. New oem flange gasket which were like $60 and modified them slightly different so I put a little more into it but not $600.

I saw that bill, you said it should take like 6 hours? I can't exactly remember it all it's been a while. But yeah... I had the engine strapped right to the front(without the front manifold there) and we just couldn't get them in.

Did you guys have issues with the crossover that went over the transmission? That took the longest. I had me and two other guys trying too get that in... took a tire bar and punch to get it to go... it was unreal tight...

you can buy 3 inch pipe with the same angle red has in his pics. then have it cut and welded in. Reds looks real smooth, no trap at all.

any reason no one seems to put a V clamp on both sides of the flex pipe? id think that would be the easy way to change it when it does fail. all you would need is a new flex with the v band ends welded on right?
