This morning when I started up the car to drive off to another lovely day at work, the back lights for the radio and climate controls were not on. The digital screens for the radio, and for the temperature settings were on, and when I activated heated seats, and some of the other lower buttons, they lit up. I played with the interior lighting level switch to see if that was the cause, but it only affected the back instrument cluster when I adjusted it.
I have also changed stock wheels on this car, so I am reminded daily with the small yellow icon in the instrument cluster that I don't have active wheel sensors, and also in the DIC. This morning, that sensor light and the DIC said nothing to me about my tires, so it has to be more than just a light connection. Has anyone had something similar happen on theirs, or any ideas / Chilton drawings for this cars instrument and interior wiring that they could help me with? I am wondering about a bad ground somewhere, but where to look?
