i bought some zzp mufflers from a guy on craiglist and thought it would be a good idea to do whole stainless exhaust. my question is i currently have a n/a 3.8 but i plan on doing a engine swap some time into the future would there be any drawbacks with a 3 inch exhaust on a n/a engine for the time being

headers won't help much on a stock N/A nor will a 3 in cat back cause you'll lose bottom end

Not the point of the thread.

    Don't worry about the exhaust.

I never noticed any draw backs from speedy daddy headers on my 3.8 n.a engine, only power increase, I didnt lose any bottom end (that I could notice) and before the headers I had a 2.5" downpipe.

keep your stock resonator or get the longest glasspack possible, I put a 26'' long glaspack in mine, it stopped the rasp/popping noises at high rpms by alot.
page 11 of my car thread in my signature there is a video of my exhaust without and with a glasspack.

It bolts up just like the stock manifolds and downpipe does all the way to the resonator.. Now beyond the resonator nothing will change unless you change something there
