I just recently changed my pulley to a 3.4, there wasn't a squeak the first day but by day 2 it started chirping. I have the 658 belt on. Should I try the stock belt? Thanks

Stock belt would be too long.
Start the car, and watch the belt from straight down and see if there's any side to side wobble. If so, check all your pullies.
Now, I just cammed my car recently, didn't change pullies or belts. When I put it back on, it was chirping. I watched it, no wobble. Removed it a few times trying to find something.
I finally just put 1 small spritz of belt dressing, and it's been fine since (about 2-3weeks)
Ok, I'll check out the pulleys tomorrow.

I run stock belt on 3.4 with no problems....
You would think the stock belt would make it chirp much more since it's much longer. For some reason though it was a pita getting the 658 on.
I been running a stock belt on my 3.4 setup for well over a year now with no problems, it doesn't make noise, slip or anything. One thing I had problems with in the past is when putting the s/c belt back on if its not wrapped all the way around the harmonic balancer at the bottom where its hard to see it will jump off one rib on the h/b and will squeak.
Is that the big pulley at the bottom? I thought that was the crank pulley?
Alright lol

IIRC, you can put on a 3.0" idler pulley and run the stock belt with a 3.4"
I installed an I/C before I put on a 3.4", so I had a longer belt.
Are tensioner pulleys known to go bad after a pulley swap? I looked at the crank pulley and the belt seemed a tad off to the outside of the pulley, towards the passenger side. I tried pushing it towards the other side and it was definitely off of a rib on the outside of the pulley. Is it supposed to look like it's sort of more at the edge of the outside? I can't figure this out. I'll try belt dressing tomorrow but I'm afraid it might make it worse.

Ok, I just have a press on pulley. I didn't go with the mps. My pulley isn't all the way flush with the snout, it's very close, but not all the way.

Got a pic?
Not at the moment. I can get one a little later though.

Need a pic of the end of it to see how far on the snout shaft it is. Check your hb and make sure it's over all the way on it. Mine used to chirp when the belt was over one rib to far to the passenger side.
Ok so I figured out its coming from the supercharger Pulley. It seems to be spinning straight. What would cause this?
