Well that is a known defective piece...replacing mine fixed my issue that I thought was the alternator. Does ur voltage jump up and down alot or does it stay in the same are plus or minus .4volts

No starts out at 13.8 and climbs up a little over 15 and stays steady.

OK that piece is probably still fine so the issue lays else where...let me check a couple things and I'll post up my findings on here

Hi, I have the same issue right now. Tried replacing the factory stereo and once it was installed there was a message about starting disabled due to theft system? Gave up and put the original back in and now when I go to jump it I just get the same rapid clicking sound. Sound strange?

Like rapid clicking sound under the hood and car won't start? Sounds like starter needs replacing.

So, car went crazy saying a bunch of messages with the theft security system, then said ignition disabled. Took it to the dealership and the battery was bad. Works like normal now. Unbelievable.
