Hey guys,

So after discussing it with the wife, I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on a remote start system over the next few weeks. I have an Autopage set up on my truck and I love it, so I'll probably stay with that brand. I'm going to get a 6 channel set up, but in reality it's a 3 channel setup because 3 of those 6 channels are lock, unlock, and trunk. My question is what should I use those 3 channels for? On my truck I have them turn on my bed lights, head lights, and fog lights. On my car, I was thinking about:

Rolling down\up all 4 windows (I'll have to find a schematic for a circuit to accomplish this, but I'm sure I can track one down)
Turning on\off head lights
Turning on\off auto mode on my climate control (I'll probably take the HVAC module apart and solder some wires to the auto switch, then run them to a relay and have the remote start trigger the relay.)

Do you guys have any other ideas on what I could use that might be a better idea than those 3? I could probably do without the headlight option, so if a better idea comes up that'll be the first to go. I do a lot of hiking and when I go hiking I take my truck, so if I loose my truck I can turn my headlights\fog lights on and follow the brightness to find my way back (~12000 lumens between the headlights and fog lights). This wouldn't really be needed on the car. I was thinking that maybe I could have the sunroof open\close instead, but I'm still up in the air on it. Any other ideas or input you guys might have on the subject?
