You pick a cam it's called a cam. You can buy them many different places. Summit and jeg's have them. You'll need a tune then.

I don't know much about the ls cams. I'm sure someone else will chime in though.

Yeah it might not be like the 3800 with many easily available and lots of choices. This would probably be better off in the LS section though.

It's called a camshaft and being that you have a LS motor look at places that sell cams for a LS. Looks like you may need to do some more research before you jump into a mod like this.. Rather if a mechanic is doing it or not and hope your wallets fat because you will paying a lot in labor.

you need to dig a little bit on ls1tech. com in the ls4 specific section I'd recommend Doug Thornley headers cam and tune! cam has many different options depending on goals for the car and how much work you want to do. bigger the cam more work will be needed.....

And a cam isn't one of those first mods you'll want to do other mods such a headers.

For A cam..DoD delete would be needed and that includes the VLOM and rockers.
Biggest thing is a good tuner

If you don't have the supporting mods yet to support a cam go for what I told u in the other thread. At bare minimum you'll want a intake swap and a set of headers. These motors are choked severely from the factory. Start with the transmission mods I told you about and then get that tune done. Those are the best bang for the buck on this platform. Then you can worry about the cam.
You can take the advice from members on here who already have the car and modded it, or a mechanic who is about to make alot of money off you. Cams will easily make 30-50whp on these cars and pretty much any LS cam will work but you will need supporting mods.
