well I just picked up a 99 spyder ecipse 2.4 na as a winter beater for 550 with 118k no biggie , had o replaced a few parts before it would run . needed an alt and battery. anyways finaly got it running
made sure car was in neutral ,
put foot on clutch and started the car , put car in 1st took, off parking brake, released clutch pedal and gave some gas and it just revved up ? no movement. so I put it in second slowly released clutch and gave gas and nothing . when cars in first and clutch is remved and gas s given the car shakes a little like its trying to engage but it would. theres no grinding noises . ive checked the linkage and it is hooked up to the tranny and the slave cylinder moves when clutch is depressed im just looking to get more info if anyone ahs ahd related problems in any of their cars before I pull the tranny which im more then willing to do just trying to avoid it
