just for your information, im still on stock springs with my 1.9:1 modded rockers. if you put it all together, the gaskets that you have to buy to do the cam swap eat up a lot of money. and since youre down there you might as well replace the chain and tensioner.

all im trying to say is that there is more cost in doing a cam by far then rockers, since you only need to take the valve covers off.

you can run a while without getting it tuned, but you might need to tune it before you can romp on it due to knocking issues.
