I tried to take the 04 GTP through emissions yesterday and got a not ready rejection. The print out says that the Catalyst and Evap are still showing not ready. I had to clear the CEL after replacing the gas pedal position sensor, so I'm sure I haven't put enough miles on the car to get everything to click. Is there any way to get these two to get ready sooner? I know the car has a tune, but don't know what it is. Could a tune be causing these systems to not show ready?

    thanks,

Sounds like all you need to do is drive it a little more to get the system to report ready. I take it you dumped the battery to clear the CEL?

The exact same thing happen to me with my 05 GTP , you need to do a "drive cycle", it could be done in a day . I basically started really early (around 400 am making sure there is no traffic) I took the car down to the south 202 going east towards San Tan and performed the steps . FYI in AZ one can remain unset so I'd try what 97gtpjoe said and you should be good

I had to reset the codes using the Torque app after replacing the gas pedal sensor. I plan on taking it on a drive here in a bit to try and get everything ready for testing.
