    Dual A/C's are going to make it crazy cold. This project is going to be top 3 of all GP projects ever done.

    Actually this is what was done on my customer's Snowmobile engined Smart Car.
    However the scoop needs to be very large, way larger than the door itself to scoop enough air without looking ugly.
    btw that Smart car runs 11s on the 1/4 mile now on street tires.

    The car is now a few tenths quicker than on this video taken by myself.

    We are removing the power steering pump/rack, going electric water pump, no alternator for the rear engine.

    oh man, do a 4 wheel steer job like a monster truck. lol id laugh my ass off if it did a 10 second 1/4 doing the crab lmao..

    Just thinking out loud/quick thought, what issue would there be in mounting the second radiator up front. If you pop the hood it would not look stock. I wonder how big the lines would have to be and how much weight the water in the longer lines would add? Enough room? Enough air flow?

    that would need 2 inch pipe ran from the front to the back. seen it done on off roar trucks with a rear engine, buggy's if you will. seem em use the roll cage as well to plumb the coolant.

    Rad will be in the back for sure... two powerful fans on it. Should be enough to keep it cool. If it's not enough we'll go with very large size rad.
    That is something we'll have to test. The stock rad could be enough with a powerful electric water pump.

    Too much risk if anything goes wrong.

    But my plan is to go to the track and look like a FWD, just do a small burn out of the front tires then run a great time, surprise a few guys.
    Then my next burnout would be front tire first, then rear tire alone. Then we'll have a lot of looks lol

    You probably wouldn't need to do a burnout at all.

    Exactly...more for show than Go.

    But once I get serious with Timeslips, I will go with four e.t. street but the sleeper factor won't be there anymore and I will need a burnout then to get the most out of the MT tires.

    Yep, many of the off road buggys I run with have done this. It is more parts to deal with problems and such, but it is pretty common. I think trying to make a radiator work in the back is probably better, but it will have its own set of challenges.

    When you go to do your burnout put one engine in reverse and one in forward and just smoke all four tires sitting still.....lol

    You should still do it.

    Or a scoop like the MR2s or NSXs use would be neat if done right.

    I'll try that for sure !

    Today we worked on it a little. Boring stuff, trimmed more off the body to make it easier to work on the engine. Aligned every very close to how it will be. Decided on subframe heigth
    Decided on how to install subframe to the unibody so it is removable and very strong. Rear engine will have more traction so everything needs to be as strong as stock or stronger.

    For the air intake you could have the front of the trunk lid sit a few inches up or have like a heat extractor or something on the trunk lid
    Does removing the spare count as weight reduction?
