First of all im not dumb or crazy, I already managed to glue a genV to a ssm90 (Ok maybe a little crazy)

Im currently attempting to find out if its possible to modify a wbody store (or zzp) full stack core to clear the injectors on my ssm90ed grand prix. If you don't know what the ssm90 kit is look at zzps site before asking why I plan on taking a grinder to a innocent intercooler core.

Basically Im planning on modifying (GRINDING) a full stack core to fit on my ssm90 kit. The wbody store core looks like its the closeist to fitting without much grinding. What im mostly worried about is how much meat is in there for me to cut away without cutting into the actual air chamber. I shouldent have to cut any deeper then the bolt holes in any spot.

Does anyone who has had a i/c apart know how much room I have to cut? Or does anyone have pictures on one apart from either zzp or wbs? I know I have seen pictures of a split core before but I didnt see any while I was looking today.

A few people told me I couldent stick a genV on my ssm90 before.... Now I want to try to pull this off as well. ZZP and Wbodystore both told me that the full size cores flat out wont work as is which I believe. Neither will condone me chopping one up though so I need pictures to see if I can make one fit.... I really would rather have one big core then double stacking two small cores.

You cannot notch the Intercooler enough without hitting the heater core inside to clear the injectors. Looked pretty hard at this in the past. If the heater cores were smaller you could and you wouldn't have problems with the PCV either. The oil cooler used on the short stack is pretty narrow. You could get 2 of them!

Sounds good. Ill just double stack. Would you reccomend zzps heat exchanger / pump or wbody stores?
