post the code, i have no idea what a charge temp sensor is.
theres a ait sensor, air intake temp. its in the air filter tube from the air filter to the TB close to the TB.
dont have the code off hand got it read at advanced. i got a delphi ts10072
never changed one before all i know is it says air charge temp sensor.
thats a iat sensor, its in the filter tube, has a wire leading to it.
pull the plug off, then pull it straight up and out of the tube. you can try cleaning the old one. they get gummed up.
also check the wires to the ait. they get messed up, i had to change that pigtail as well as the maf pig tail on my car.
yup thats it. thanks for saving me from hunting for it. ill try cleaning it i guess if i put a new one on and it doesnt help i will check out the pig tail going to it. i will try and stay possitive. thanks for your help
question the issue was the pigtail someone had replaced the iat before im guessing the wires were rubbing against metal and rubbed through. i went to the junk yard just to get a new pigtail same some time and money but mine says ped 10 the one i got is ped 11 will it make a difference it came off a 3800 series motor
napa isnt open on sundays and i have cut the other one off. advaced doesnt have it and upon stripping the wires i seen the ped 11 has 7 wires mine only has 6 wires just wondering if that will matter
i used these guys for my pig tails, autowiringsolutions_aws | eBay if you dont see your pig tail, pm them, they will get right back to you, i also called and spoke to them.
i got a maf and ait pig tails for about 10 each. shipped to my door in less then a week too. i was quite happy with their service.
thank you for your help
