What position should the duct flapper be in for heat and defrost on a 1998 grand prix? I think mine has broke.

you mean blend door actuators? http://www.grandprixforums.net/blend...ent-21941.html

i dont recall which way you turn the knob once the actuator is off, but turn the a/c on, turn it one way, if it hot, turn it to the other way. it dont move a whole lot, maybe 1/2 inch.

i went for over a year with both actuators broken, you only get hot or cold, no in the middle.
