after repairing a blown head gasket... we were in the middle of putting it all back together and a few vacuum hose lines broke, so we plugged them, and the car would have a little putter to it

is this normal after a major fix? could it be the gas?
we bought some lines to fix the vacuum lines and it seems to be puttering the same or even a lil' more

    95' grand prix gtp

    thanks for the help!
