2004 sc grandprix gtp 85,000 miles

The thermostat was changed because of a bulging hose at same the time the coolant elbows were changed.

Now the heat is only warm periodically , it was warm earlier but when getting on the expressway it blew cool. Later on it was warm again. Now its cool again in city driving.

The system was bleed threw radiator and bleeder screw until the coolant flowed out. The car ran for a good 30 minutes I followed the same procedure I use on all my cars. Should it be bleed again or could the new thermostat be faulty. My heat didn't do this before the thermostat change.

P.s. My heat was never very hot even before, it has always just been warm compared to other cars I have driven. But that's probably a whole other situation.

    Backflush the heatcore.

To me it seems that is the issue, then do the re-bleeding of the coolant system.
