Yeah it'll work . But he has some heavy duty polishers that will set you back a lot . I did my own but not this method . I used a higher grit to start since mine already had the stock clear burnt of and I wound up going to 1200 grit at the end .
Then I used mag and aluminum polish and a mothers ball I got this after striping all the other paints off

That looks like clear coat peeling and a nice scratch . You can do it just on that one but it'll be a lot shinier then the rest considering you'll strip the clear off that section and polish the aluminum .
Aluminum with polish shinier then clear coat . But polished aluminum will dull faster then clear coated
Polish and reclear and you should be golden if you do it right

what it was the guy who took them off scraped that tire tool all around it because he did not put the hub on the rim while he had it on the machine they were perfect before that so yeah a deep scratch that took the clear coat off I don't mind doing the whole wheel actually I would rather re clearing it is fine with me I have a compressor and some clear coat already

It's addicting before you know it all four rims will be redone and you'll start polishing other things .

ok as for buffers I have a 1600 rpm (actually its a sears power sander that I believe I cam put a bonnet on) and a orbit that says random orbit 1/3 hp opm 2500 I believe I can use the 1600 one correct? not sure about the other
